Water doesn't have a D in it.

Yeah, that's a heart-shaped ice cube anomaly in my Pepsi glass.

It's Valentine's Day, and some of you will be grinning and celebrating and others lamenting or quietly scowling or otherwise cursing the world and everything red and heart-shaped. I didn't do a gift guide, because I don't really do gift guides. If you have someone to buy for, you should have some remote idea of what they like. Your partner does not automatically develop a taste for small gift sets or red, heart-shaped cushions in the middle of February.

But, since it's not always a happy time of year for some people, it needs to be handled with care and sensitivity, and tact. I was always a bit crap at that, though, so figured I'd splash my awesome Valentine's gift around and do big ol' blog-cartwheels.

My relationship is only just over two months old, but this is easily the sweetest, best Valentine's Day gift I've ever received. I'm a huge fan of the website SongsToWearPantsTo.com run by musician Andrew, who makes songs based on your requests. Jordan is, too, so... guess what my gift is?

You are the one, the one with skills
Maybe his accounting brain could deal with the bills
You love to learn, so little one, hear this
With or without your lipsticks, he'd still like a kiss

Anastasia, Jordan knows you well
He's got your data, though his pronunciation may not be swell
Anastasia, you'll always be Quinn and Del

He is your sunshine, a perfect fit
And you are his nerd, his cat, his Brit
You're so good together, he can't understand
Though he'd still let you go on a date with Iron Man

Anastasia, Jordan knows you well
He's got your data, though his pronunciation may not be swell
Anastasia, you'll always be Quinn and Del

I promise you from the bottom heart, little one
Our cake will never be a lie

I hope you read the request, or else the lyrics probably don't make any sense. And now the internet knows I meow sometimes. Oh, like anyone will be surprised.

Squeee! I'm impossible to bring down today. I wanna blast all the gloomy Valentine's people in the face with my happy. Feel free to share your Valentine's plans with me!

I got all dressed up for V-Day, for a hot date with a 10-page research paper. Oh yeah, baby. ;)

On the bright side, though my parents are adorable, and sent me a bouquet of tulips and a tiny box of chocolates, and two of my residents slipped Valentines under my door last night.

That is so sweet! You lucky girl, you. ;)

I'm spending V day all on my lonesome. I don't mind though. I'm spending the day partying hard on ONTD star trek and watching the Lost Boys.

My mother left me a huge bar of raspberry chocolate, so I am a very happy girl

Ana I don't have a valentine this year but sweetie I am just all smiles right now. Way to go Jordan. Haven't met ya but just LOVE LOVE LOVE ya. The song is just tooooooo cute and really SEXY. Very John Cusack in Say Anything (I know I'm showing my age but hey I can't lie I'm a hopeless romantic at heart). LOL I just can't stop smiling. :O)

I want to let you know that I spent about ten minutes trying to figure out what you meant in the title.

Also, what an amazingly sweet gift he got you.

Awwww!!

I'd listen to the full song if the speakers weren't so crappy here.

My significant other bought me a LEGO fire engine set to make.

We also bought each other the exact same chocolate box mix.

Was kinda fail yet win. :D

Thanks, all! Anastasia really can't stop telling me how much she loves the gift. In fact, she tells me it's her second favorite present of all time.

Considering we haven't been together very long at all, I think that's a good sign that I could best the first one. And that we're doing well already.

And T.R, thanks, but I'm sure Little One'll have a problem with me recieving love from anyone else. :P

We did one of those chinese lanterns- a red heart shaped one! It was very romantic :)

He had to work during the day though :( so I made cupcakes with the anti-Valentine's friends lol.

That is TOO adorable! A song! Aww :)

My V-Day was whatever. I don't have a man so :(

But my mommy got me a box of chocolates, and a bunch of my sorority sisters but Valentines under my door! And my heart sister wrote me the cutest note in a Valentine saying that I was the best heart sister she could ask for and she loves me. So that made me feel real good!

That's nice :) You have brought me back to the heady days of my transatlantic nerd-internet romance, when I had a boyfriend who loved my accent and British words and ways and vice versa.

These days I am happy with a lovely British man, although he is Northern so he does sometimes say funny things.

Enjoy your song and each other!
