I'm totally obsessed with this song, and keep playing it while I blog tonight, so I thought I'd share.

I have this song on my iPod. Love it! And Down and Out by Tantric has violins in it if you want to listen to that.
13 August 2009 00:19Listening to that right now and loving it. Got any more music recommendations? I'm so tired of mine.
13 August 2009 00:22I love Apocalyptica, Tool, A Perfect Circle, Muse, 30 Seconds from Mars, opera, classical, most rock/metal, Lacuna Coil, all sorts of stuff.
Um... Linkin Park has piano in a lot of its songs because Mike, who raps and plays second guitar, can play piano really well too. And Remember the Name by Fort Minor (a side band of Mike's) has violins in it too. Tokio Hotel is a favorite band of mine, and Three Days Grace. Hollywood Undead is kickass too.
13 August 2009 00:32In particular Paradise Lost by Hollywood Undead has a very nice piano accompaniment, and Love Is Dead by Kerli is rock with some classical thrown in. The music video for it is really unique.
13 August 2009 00:42The singer rather looks like Snape in that still.
13 August 2009 01:48Thanks Raz, I'll check those out :]
13 August 2009 02:28Lmao, yeah, I thought that. I don't like the still, it makes the video look really emo.
13 August 2009 02:28Why didn't we ever play anything like this in orchestra when I played the cello?
13 August 2009 16:50I don't think I've ever listened to Apocalyptica or Adam Gontier, but he seems to be channeling Trent a bit, the way he holds the mic. (OK, Reznor's not dead, so perhaps channeling isn't the right term, but you get the idea, right?)
I know, right? Some orchestral music is amazing but orchestras don't play it! More Apocalyptica, more LOTR and stuff, please!
13 August 2009 20:21He does look a bit like Reznor, although considerably more like Snape.
Adam Gontier = LOVE! Three Days Grace is my favorite ... they don't have a song that I don't like. This song is def. a new favorite!
14 August 2009 03:21I'm actually going to see Apocalyptica live in september, since they are warming up Nightwish *g*
14 August 2009 16:15I've never listened to Three Days Grace before, but I'll give them a listen now, Bridget.
14 August 2009 16:16Man, Nightwish and Apocalyptica in the same concert? You're one lucky girl Jangsara! I'm jealous.
14 August 2009 16:17I saw Apocalyptica when they opened for Lacuna Coil and Within Temptation a couple years back. I love this song, I actually just downloaded it lol And Three Days Grace is awesome. Breaking Benjamin is a bit better, but TDG has some good songs.
15 August 2009 17:54I like Tokio Hotel, but I cant watch their videos.. the lead singer makes me giggle. Uhhhh We are the Fallen are turning out to be good. Kind of an Evanescence-y feel since its the band Ben Moody and the other outcasts went to alongside Carly Smithson from American Idol.
Not sure if you'd be into them but my fav. songs ever are Inflames-'my sweet shadow' and Mudvayne-'happy' I also love tons of Buckethead songs which are just guitar musicals, but really really good ones.
22 August 2009 00:45Lacuna Coil, Within Temptation AND Apocalyptica? Aarrrrgh I'm so jealous! Ha, I'd love to see them playing their classical instruments.
26 August 2009 04:10I've heard a bit of Breaking Benjamin before and liked it, although I feel a lot of these bands inevitably sound very similar and nu-metaly.
I'll give the others a listen though, I'm always after new music. New MUSE album out on 14th September though!
Aleksis! <3 Man I never figured you for being into Mudvayne. I'm gonna slam those into youtube now and listen :]
