The new Sleek iDivine palette Curious was released in Superdrug today. It's limited edition and the most gorgeous one yet, I'm totally in love with it. I rushed home with it to photograph and swatch for you - all taken in natural light, dry swatches, no base, as usual.
Sleek MakeUP iDivine Palette in Curious (LE) £4.87 at Superdrug.

For starters, all the colours this time have the gorgeous pearlescent shimmer instead of a mix of shimmer and matte. I prefer the shimmery colours because they're softer, creamy and blend better.
Secondly, this palette contains the same gorgeous white shimmery colour I've been using non-stop as a highlight since it was first included in Safari. I've hit pan on my Safari one and was considering getting a second palette just for that colour, so I'm thrilled to see it in this one.
Thirdly, the colour selection is the best yet, in my opinion. I'm loving the blues, teals and that yellow, and am happy I finally have a rich, creamy pigmented shimmery black to play with.
I predict these will fly off the shelves so grab them while you can. (I'd have bought a ton of them if I hadn't just paid rent.) I actually haven't wiped the swatches off my hand yet because I'm enjoying looking at them so much!
FAQs about Sleek MakeUP.
- Is Sleek available in the US? No, currently Sleek MakeUP is only available in the UK, France, South Africa, Kenya, Ghana and Nigeria.
- Does my Superdrug stock them? Click here for a list of UK stockists.
- How much do the palettes cost? £4.87 in Superdrug.
- How big are they? Each palette contains 12 mineral based shadows, all 1.1g each. MAC shadows are 1.5g, so that's a pretty amazing deal.
- How long do they last? Well it depends how much you use them! Sleek shadows probably wear faster than some others because they're softer, so you tend to apply more - similar to Urban Decay shadows. I've had all of my palettes for months and that shimmery white shade is the only one I can see pan through.
- Will you ship me a Sleek palette? I'm currently working on getting my hands on a box full so I can sell them through eBay, with very minimal profit and worldwide shipping. Any profit will just be used to purchase prizes for blog giveaways etc.
- What about the rest of their stuff? I'm so enamored by their palettes I haven't tried much else. I can say I do like their loose pigments and their ink pots (gel eyeliner) and liquid eyeliners, but I don't have much experience with liner so don't know how it measures up.
- Where can I find out about new palette releases? The Sleek MakeUP website is still under construction but you can visit their blog and keep up to date.
- How many palettes are there? There are 3 permanent iDivine palettes (Storm, Chaos, Original) and to date, have been 4 limited edition ones (Jewel, Acid, Safari, Curious).

Ooooh, I am in love! It sucks to be Canadian sometimes ;) Any idea how much that would be to ship to Prince Edward Island? I've never had anything shipped in from the U.K. $8CAD is a great deal for this palette, it's hard to pass these up!
5 August 2009 20:36wow, I'm in love too, the colors are gorgeous! I really hope I can find it somewhere.
5 August 2009 20:56I love their loose eyeshadows too, they're really good and the colors are beautiful. I regret not getting more last time I was in London.
Hey Groovy, man I have no idea. I'd have to weigh it and I'm kinda too lazy to do that right now, next time I go downstairs I'll put one in a padded envelope and weigh it.
5 August 2009 21:04I'm in discussion with Sleek to see if I can bulk-buy some and how much it'll cost, if it's financially viable hopefully I can start selling them through eBay, or at a discounted rate through my blog. All proceeds go to supply giveaway prizes!
I love them too, Gio! This is definitely my favourite palette. I'm really excited about playing with the new shimmery black, too. Those swatches are still on my hand!
5 August 2009 21:05Those blues are SPEAKING to me. But I'm unfortunately an American
5 August 2009 23:19you could always take "preorders" so that you know how many to get for resale.
5 August 2009 23:27This one is really pretty- I especially like the lighter minty-green (middle row, 2nd from the right)
I suppose I really don't need it, but if you happen to get your hands on a box, we'll just see.
I wouldn't want you to have extras just laying around would I ;)
oooo that bottom left is gorgeous!
6 August 2009 00:00Okay I was just feigning for the Safari and now this. Okay that's both of them I'll have to track down and get.
6 August 2009 00:07They really need to think about coming to a drugstore/target near us. I mean for real.
Watch this space Raz! Hopefully I'll be able to offer Sleek palettes to my dear bloggers so you can all enjoy them.
6 August 2009 00:55Oh no we definitely wouldn't want that, Jess. This is my favourite, too, and that mint green is my personal pick =D I'm going to use the two colours top left for another guild wars look.
6 August 2009 00:56Anything to put off the monk look ._. I cannot do neutrals.
Great to see you back Vanessa! I saw you comment over on Jen's blog too, haven't seen you for ages! Where've you been?
6 August 2009 00:57T.R. The bad news is that I couldn't get you a Safari palette. I did try, but they were sold out very quickly and weren't getting more in. I emailed my trusty eBay seller to see if she's getting any Safaris but she hasn't replied yet, and I'm still waiting on Sleek to get back to me.
6 August 2009 00:59BUT I did pick up one of these for you today. I only had enough cash to get two, and I figured you'd want this - look at it, it's stunning! Best of the collection I think.
So never fear, you've got one tucked away for you :]
Very nice palette. Might have to pick one up from you if you get that going. :)
6 August 2009 01:33I think I need that.
6 August 2009 01:36Oooh nice, this one appeals to me more than Safari.
6 August 2009 13:35Gklauren, isn't it just? I have some news so I'll be posting it shortly!
6 August 2009 18:02I think you might, too.
6 August 2009 18:02Cali, I agree, this is my favourite so far. Blue > gold!
