Kitsch is a Girl's Best Friend

Sod diamonds, give me cute costume jewellery any day. Right now I'm fixated on www.Grindstore.com for having some of the cutest, quirkiest little bits of alternative jewellery.

Check out a few of my favourite picks!

Also, I got a new windowblinds skin and made some True Blood desktop wallpaper with an image Alex kindly sourced for me, I like so I thought I'd share it.

Mmm, yum! Click for the full-size.

your disk space monitor is messed up. I suppose you changed drive letters when you reformatted

I'm with you! I don't like diamonds, or gold :P
My engagement ring is platinum with a nice sapphire. My wedding ring is white gold (though it does have very tiny diamonds). I'm just not a 'classic' diamonds and gold girl.

I'm a fan of blacklight reactive stuff, gothic stuff, tribal stuff etc :)

Inspired by your post, I surfed around Etsy.com for some cute earrings. I found Hello Kitty dressed up as bunches of ASPARAGUS!!! Also, avocadoes and radishes (two separate pairs, not in the same pair). I'm unreasonably excited to get them.

@ Phyrra - I know, right? The worth of jewellery is whether it looks nice or not. Give me something aesthetic over 'precious' any day.

@Jen - They ARE cute, but... I already have 2 sets of green Lego earrings which are superior, because they're drop earrings, not studs. Drop earrings are more elegant.

@ Gio - They are, but anything with HK on it is cute. I want something more shaped like HK though rather than just a picture of her.

@ Jaimi - HOLY CRAP. That's awesome. I must possess it.

That same seller has a bunch of other stuff...and perhaps if you message him/her there will be more asparagus!

I feel quite bad, now. I still really want these http://www.grindstore.com/products/Punky-Pins-Space-Invaders-Earrings_8610.html because they have the guns on, lower, like they're going to shoot them, and that's awesome.

But I'd better be good now. Gee, I don't have enough ears.

I bought a total of 5 pairs of earrings. The HK ones, the aforementioned avocadoes and radishes (those are not HK, just plain old vegetables, and I confess I bought the radish ones to wear when I go see HBP), some HK guitar pick ones similar to the ones you linked, and hearthstones.

I really need a better way to store my earrings than just throw them into my jewelry box....

Haha, to match Luna, wonderful. I don't even have a jewellery box, I just tend to hang my earrings on appropriately-shaped things.
