I Liked The Version With Will Smith In Better

I've had my fill of American-flag-covered-patriotic-everything today, so if you're American and chuffed that we don't own you anymore, congratulations on not being British.

Moving on.

I dyed my hair t'other day and it's come out a rather fetching purpley burgundy type colour. As is typical with anything you really want to photograph, they all came out really horribly, so I had to touch the photo up slightly in Photoshop, but I don't think you can really tell.

Well, you can see my hair, and that's what counts, right?

One day soon, when the Universe stops hating me and it stops being so fucking hot I'll probably be able to take a decent one.

Loyal readers may have recalled my mentioning a good friend who works for Estée Lauder. Well, said friend - who shall remain nameless - excelled herself by giving me what was left in one of their big, 200ml bottles of Double Wear foundation in my shade, the big squeezy plastic bottles they use on customers to test shades, and to fill little sample bottles, etc.

I estimate it to have just over 100ml in it, which is over 3 full-size bottles worth of their foundation (each 30ml bottle being £24 a pop!). I'm absolutely over the moon, since I've wanted it for ages - it's my favourite foundation to date - but just couldn't afford it and had to keep on using the crappy MAC foundation which I hate.

So thank you, thank you, thank you, to my mysterious benefactor, I'm delighted!
