Did a quick look with my Sleek Acid palette today, although, as is typical, it photographed badly.
Anastasia On Acid: Step-by-Step

Icky full-face because Jen requested it. Now you can see my hair properly, although my eyes are so hooded my eyeshadow vanished.

Here's what they look like, sort of.

Here are the colours I have to work with in the palette

Super-simple, this one.
- Coat lids in primer, I used UDPP for this. Grab your favourite eyeshadow brush (MAC 239) and apply the neon pink from the Sleek Acid palette all over the lid.
- Switch to a crease brush (MAC 217) and apply the purple shadow over the crease and outer-V, blending it with the pink and over, above the crease.
- Using another (or the same, wiped) blending/crease brush, apply the black onto it and tap off excess. Carefully shade in around the outer-V and crease, in between the purple and pink.
- Apply purple under lower lashline.
- Highlight over brow-bone and blend out any harsh lines left from the purple.
- Line & mascara (in my case, UD Zero pencil and Bourjois Liner Effect + Lancome Virtuose mascara).
Trivia: My t-shirt says "Schrodinger's cat is dead" on the front and "Schrodinger's cat is not dead" on the back.

Thanks Ana! My night has been really boring thus far (feeling blah and can't seem to make myself do much of anything) and this totally perked it up. You look HOT! Perfect skin, dramatic eyes and gorgeous hair. And that pink looks SOO amazing!
8 July 2009 03:20Those shadows are crazy bright! I wish I had enough confidence to pull something like that off. (Someday!)
8 July 2009 03:30Also, your t-shirt? AWESOME.
(Hi, I'm a random person who clicked on your blog link from the Makeup Geek forums. *waves*)
Man most of my days are like that... Thank you sweetness <3 my skin isn't that perfect, I confess I brightened it a bit in Photoshop (am trying to learn how to touch pictures up properly) and of course I have to contest with my pudgy face and complete lack of bone structure. I like my hair, though :]
8 July 2009 03:31Yay someone who gets psychics jokes! =D I also have "I pwn boys" and "Frack Me" (Battlestar Galactica pun, visible in the banner at the top of this site) which are among my favourite t-shirt at the moment.
8 July 2009 03:33I've actually been struggling to use the Sleek palette, I wanted to do at least one look which was ALL the palette, nothing else, to demonstrate using it, but trying to use such bright brights together is indeed difficult.
Oh my god that top picture of you is breathtaking! Your hair is gorgeous, your eyes are gorgeous and you are just so gorgeous!
8 July 2009 04:21Hm, are your eyes and mine the same shape?
Most of my crease disappears when my eyes are open.
That neon pink is FABULOUS!
As far as your shirt goes, my husband has that same shirt :) It's a physic/quantum mechanics thing. I actually bought him that shirt because it cracked me up.
Yup! It makes a talking point when people stare blankly and I have to explain who Schrodinger was.
8 July 2009 04:26Aside from my pudgy face I like the top one, since my eyes look sparkly and, for once, my hair isn't totally shit. The neon really is neon, eh?
I think we both have the same kinda hooded eyes, s'why I usually blend my shadow up over my brow bone so it's visible. But when I take full-face photos I do it MySpace style - camera way over my head! To stop me from looking quite so pudgy, so then they become even more invisible!
I have been getting better about blending my crease color up. I need to try your color placement here :)
8 July 2009 04:28I usually do the MySpace angle thing too, holding the camera up a bit, because I tend to find it catches the angles of my face nicely.
Regardless, you look hot!
Thank you, darling! (I hold it up 'cause it reduces the pudge!) Would that I could have your amazing cheekbones and bone structure!
8 July 2009 04:38Lookin' very good, kiddo.
8 July 2009 05:01Eee, thanks baby :3 I was going to show you this picture, but I thought you'd gone to sleep. *Kisses* Go to bed! You should be sleepin'.
8 July 2009 05:10WOW!! WOW!!! WOW!! Ana you did a great job. I want this palette so I can do this look. And it goes great with your hair, which by the way is sooo cute. Love the red. I want to do a red but I'm a little gun shy. I'm blond so going red is a huge jump. I just need to find the right red. :O)
8 July 2009 05:27Haha thanks TR! Sadly this palette is hard to find now, there's 1 seller on eBay who'll ship internationally, but nearly all the stores are sold out of it now and it's limited edition, of course.
8 July 2009 05:34So glad I got mine when I did! And thanks, I love my hair. I think anyone can wear red as long as they go a red that suits them, like you said, the right kind of red.
OMG you have a Schrödinger's Cat is Dead TEE- I WANT ONE!!!
8 July 2009 09:55(see? I am a nerd)
I love the look, it goes great with your hair. I actually had the same hair color when I was, hum, younger.
Darn I can't do that accented o... You can get a Schrodinger shirt, I got mine on www.thinkgeek.com :]
8 July 2009 09:58And thank you <3 My hair just came out of a box, super cheap, I haven't been to a salon since February x.x
Great look Ana! I really like this and will have to try it myself sometime-I've always looked at my hot pink eyeshadows and was at a loss as to how to use them but now you've given me a great look to try. Your hair looks great too!
8 July 2009 18:20Wow, you look gorgeous Ana! I love the hair, the makeup, your skin, everything!
8 July 2009 19:45That pink looks GORGEOUS! I can't wait to get my palette so I can play with it.
@Tongue In Cheek - Thank you! I absolutely love getting comments from new people. It's the only way I know anyone reads, ahah.
8 July 2009 21:00Hot pink and black go well together for a kind of 50's look, I think, or pink/purple, or perhaps hot pink and a pale pale seafoam greeny blue. Hm, I might try that next!
This was a REALLY quick look and pink isn't my forté so I'm glad you like it. Hopefully I can improve it with a bit of practice.
@Gio - Thanks hun! I still haven't had my hair done properly since February ahaha, so it badly needs cutting! I still hope to have it dyed white/pink/purple when I can afford it but I do like this colour in the mean time. Not bad considering it came out of a box, eh?
8 July 2009 21:02I can't wait to see the looks you come up with when you get your palette!
gorgeous!
