Sneak peak of the inspirational composite for my next Guild Wars EOTD, which will be based on my favourite character, my pretty pretty monk.
I love her an unhealthy amount.
Oh, hey, and I came up with a name for my game series of EOTDs. It shall henceforth be known as... Painting by Pixels. I'll be going back and editing previous titles to make it all match and shiny happiness.
I also got MAC's eyeshadow in Electric Eel and pigment in Mutiny today. I was really disappointed by Electric Eel, I guess I was expecting it to be something new, but it's just a less pigmented, duller version of my blue Stargazer dust. Mutiny looks more promising but I'll have to find a nice look for it.
I shall close with a picture which demonstrates how fucking messy my desk is. I keep losing my brushes, dropping stuff, for some reason I haven't bothered to stow away my make-up for the past... many days, so it's all a bit higgedly piggeldy.

I picked up Electric Eel and Freshwater at the same time, and I have to admit, I was disappointed with Electric Eel but I really like Freshwater

16 July 2009 19:39@ Jen - Haha, I guess "monk" sounds that way, monk is just the class, they're healers. I love playing healers, 'cause I'm a love-not-war sort of person. I prefer running around healing other people and looking after them than going out and bashing monsters on the head. I loooooove my monk, she's so beautiful and great.

Now how do I get into this guild war thingy. If I need any kind of additional box (x, wii, ps) then I'm safe b/c right now I'm not shelling out $250-$500 for that. LOL that'll be my saving grace.
16 July 2009 22:52Ha! It's a PC game, like... all? MMORPGs. You need the game ($15 or something from a store, they have 3 different ones: Prophecies (original), Factions (shortest, bit crap but VERY VERY easy to level on it) and Nightfall (nooooooooooooooo don't buy it, it's evil)
16 July 2009 22:59They're called campaigns. Basically each game is all Guild Wars, you all play the same game, same servers etc as everyone no matter which game they have, but each game has its own region, its own map. So if you have Factions you can only go to the Factions map, you can't meet up with friends who are on the Prophecies map. I have all 3, and the expansion pack (which you wouldn't need to worry about for a while) called Eye of the North.
So you need the game, a PC that can run it (minimum requirements: ) and an internet connection. Make sure to buy the game from a proper store, not like, eBay, 'cause you need the key that comes with it.
Unlike most MMORPGs (that's Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game) there's no monthly fee with guild wars, you just buy the game and play forever, hooraaaaaaaay.
If you're good at games and have a lot of time to spend, I'd recommend starting with Prophecies. It's long, rich, more difficult and has a nice story.
If you're a bit crap at games or short on time (I used to clock up 9 hours a DAY) go for Factions. It's still GW, but it's easier, quicker to level and get everywhere and get the hang of everything.

Might there be a Ranger look some time in the future? Maybe a deep, mysterious, woodsy green with some brown, and I can't come up with anything else to add, so I'll shut up now. :)

A ranger look is a smart idea. I don't actually have a ranger (well, I do, but she doesn't look ranger-y, although she has a jingle bear :]) but woodland fairy-esque look I LOVELOVELOVE so I may do something like that, yes.
I want to do a gothic loli look based on my actual ranger & necro too (I love 1k ranger kurzick armor, it's so gothic loli with all the lace!)
My ranger doesn't look like a traditional woodsy ranger, but more like a Native American trapper type ranger. She's a Factions ranger, and I gave her a mix of Shing Jea and the other basic armor, before Anet made all new armor ugly gray, so she has a lovely tan/buckskin look to her armor.
