After reading Nessa's tip about using Scotch tape to outline the edges of you make-up (the way you use masking tape when painting) I decided to try another evolution of the butterfly theme.
This is more planty, although it doesn't look much like the ivy leaf, it was what I was thinking about.
What I Used:
Skin:
Holland & Barrett Aloe Moisturiser
Prescriptives Magic Illuminating Potion Primer
Revlon Complexion Correction Powder 02 Even Out
Maxfactor Mastertouch Concealer Ivory 303
Aromaleigh Sonic Rocks Blush in Firewoman
Eyes:
NO base used!
Scotch tape to outline the points and shape
Filled in with the Sleek iDivine Palette in Original (green & black)
MAC Fluidline Eyeliner in Blacktrack
L'Oreal Telescopic Mascara Carbon Black
Lips:
MAC Fafi Lipglass in Sugar Trance

25 September 2008 23:07I was thinking of Poison Ivy when I did it, I think I'd like to elaborate it more across the bridge of the nose or something for Halloween. I actually did some more intricate leaves, vines and flowers down the side of my cheek after I did this, using my Snazaroo paints (I'm into facepainting in a big way) but I didn't photograph it, because I'm still practicing.
It's definitely something Imma keep at though :]
And Nessa, I replied on your blog~ <3
